GlossyBox - January 2014 'Back to Basics'

So I decided to carry on with my GlossyBox subscription, one because I had 1000 'Glossy Dots' to redeem and two because it feels like my birthday every month. Simple.
Now a lot of beauty boxes are hit and miss but I just take that as a given, there is always going to be disappointment as you cannot please everyone. I view it as an opportunity to try something new and to blog about the products, which is why my other half got me it as a present.

So here is what I got in January's box 'Back to Basics'

Products from left to right:

This maybe a boring sample to some but I find them quite handy for weekends away, plus this is one that I've really wanted to try so I don't mind this. It claims to give the skin the essential moisture it needs to leave it feeling healthy, smooth & touchable every day.
The full size 400ml retails for £4.99

I have mentioned before that i have very sensitive skin and eczema so I totally avoid SLS (sodium lauyl/laureth sulphate) which is in 99% of all washes. So I was extremely happy to receive this, especially as I have tried a few products from this brand and love it.
The full size 250ml retails for £10.25

You cannot beat a good pair of tweezers and these certainly are. Extremely useful and pretty, perfect for a 'back to basics box' in my opinion.
This is a full size product and retails for £8

This maybe 2 samples but I am so happy to try new skincare. This is a Japanese cream/balm that promises to revamp your skin with vitamin e, vitamin b2, camphor and glycerine. All I know is I has a sore rash on my face and this fixed it overnight, so I am intrigued to try it some more.
The full size 33g tube retails for £13.50

This quite frankly is the best named product ever, I've seen a few products from this brand pop up and I just love the whole branding. The last product I got was a face mist which I LOVE. I have been using a lot more eye creams as I'm noticing the fine lines, especially when I'm dehydrated so I cannot wait to use these.
The full size pack with three packets of 2 patches retails for £6

Overall I dont think this is a bad box, I think one makeup product would have made it a really good box. Come on Glossybox, bring on the makeup x
