GlossyBox February 2014 - Valentines Edition

Glossybox certainly know how to keep me sweet and that is with Chocolate, oh and makeup! This months edition has certainly impressed me, with the gorgeous box d├ęcor, the great variety of contents and the added treat. This is how it should be every month in my opinion.

Products from left to right:

I have not dabbled in shimmering body lotions, or even heard much about them for years, so this is a good addition for me as I like to try things out of my comfort zone. I first thought this would make me look like a vampire form Twilight, you know the glitterball look I mean, but its actually really nice. Think more 'dewy' than anything else with a lovely floral smell.
The full size 250ml retails for £14

I LOVE nail polish so was very excited to receive this, I have a couple from this brand already and want to increase the collection. An Orange/Red polish is perfect for this valentines edition and this is a show stopper colour.
This is a full size product and retails for £9

You can never have too many eyeliners right? well I have about 15 and yet have nothing like this in my collection, this is definitely a product I would have bought myself to try to cannot wait to try this, great for smokey eyes and for inner eyes.
This is a full size product and retails for £5.99

I actually already have this gloss but for those who don't this is a great addition. These glosses are super shiny and smell amazing as they are inspired by cocktails, this smelling amazing as I love Mudslides (oh Barbados!!!). They come out with the lines of colour in tact, but once blended create a gorgeous colour. Though you may think yuk to the brown colour, this looks stunning on.
This is a full size product and retails for £2.99

When I first saw the name of this I thought 'why on earth would I use this' BUT on closer inspection its actually quite good. This is for 'fly-away' hairs i.e. for when you want that super high pontytail and all those hairs stick out, not for spiking up hair like I first thought. This might be the start of some interesting up-do's for me!
This is a full size product and retails for £7.20

Bonus Treat:

mmm mmm mmm....... need I say more?
I love the fact that this was extra and not included as the 5th product. Lindor is just dreamy and creamy and perfect. ( I ate this immediately after I filmed the video).
This is a full size product and retails for £0.79 or £16.59 for 24 bars

GlossyBox have impressed me this month, they have a good mixture of known and new brands, and a mixture of makeup, nails, hair and body. Keep it up!

  4. Hey everyone!

My name is Ellie and I'm a beginner blogger. I know that I must sound like hundreds of others but I would love it if someone, anyone took a bit of their time to look at my posts and maybe comment and say what you thought. A single +1 will make me feel like it's worth it and I don't want to give up. But by following my blog, you might make my day or even my week just by knowing that someone cares enough to go and help someone like me out. I would do the same because I know how it feels to go unnoticed, every blogger has been through that stage and knows the struggle. Please help me out, it doesn't hurt xxx <3
