Quick 'Pick Me Up' Makeup - Late night and no time! | Beauty

So I've been having a few late nights recently (saw The Saturdays the other week) and the mornings aren't a pretty picture. On a work day I don't have much time so I quickly, to the best of my ability tame my hair, and try, in 10 minutes, to look perky! This is what I've been using recently:

I have recently been testing out Max factor Skin Luminizer Foundation in Warm Almond* and I am very impressed (review to come) this is very similar to the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, which I love, in that it is infused with subtle skin luminizers for healthy-looking, glowing skin, making me look more awake and better than most I won in lasting all day. I have been applying this with the  Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, now I haven’t used the original Beauty Blender to compare, but I am totally besotted with this. It makes the application so quick and flawless. I top this with the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer, I've nearly used this up, the sponge may not be the most hygienic but its so quick and easy to blend and I love how it feels under the eyes, Love this concealer.

For eyes I've only been using shades Half Baked and Smog from the Urban Decay Naked Palette. These have been my go to shades for the last 2 weeks, half baked really brightens and smog just makes it easy, such an easy and quick colour to just blend all over and make me look half decent in a rush. I finish this with my favourite pencil liner the Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner Pencil and L'Oreal Paris Million Lashes So Couture mascara which I am currently loving for thick, long lashes.  Then finishes off qith the quickest way to do brows, a trusted pencil, mine of choice being SEVENTEEN Brow Sculpting Pencil.

Now I have been almost solely exclusive to Mac's Peaches since March, no blusher has ever had this impact on me but its a firm favourite for the year, looks great on anyone and really perks up my complexion. But not before adding my powder, in the form of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, which I use for all over and highlight with its 3 shades.

I then finish off with Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Picnic in the Park as its so pigmented and easy to swipe all over for colour and no neatness needed, for me anyway.

What are you quick and easy go to products?

  1. Gorgeous! The first picture made me laugh because it's exactly how I feel in the morning haha! (You still look gorgeous, I look like a monster)

Do you think the foundation would be good on dry skin :)?
