Well I am finally in my third trimester with only 12 weeks to go, it still hasn’t hit me that there will be an actual baby at the end of this. I have bought most things and can feel him move but having a baby hasn’t clicked, so I imagine it will hit me like a tonne of bricks when he is here. So here’s what’s been going on this week:
How far along? I am 28 weeks + 1 day
Total weight gain/measurements: I've been trying not to look each week but I'm thinking around 30lbs when I checked the other day. but this isn’t worrying me as I am mainly all boobs and bump.
Maternity clothes: I'm in the same 3x maternity jeans on rotation and need to buy some more tops as I only have one real maternity top, and its the one I keep getting compliments on.
Stretch marks: None so far, I will be writing a post soon on the products I have been using. If I don’t moisturise for a few days I do get an itchy belly from the stretching skin so that’s my cue to oil up.
Sleep: My poor husband is getting none as I am snoring constantly now (pregnancy symptom) and I've even heard myself! I’m also waking myself up more rolling over as it’s not that easy and involves a lot of grunting and a 10 point roll top do it.
Best moment this week: My mum finally being able to feel him move. He’s shy usually.
Miss anything? My agility. I can’t even cut my own toe nails or generally reach for much, think tortoise on his back scenario.
Movement: Lots, each week is more and more. He usually just a couple of kicks in the morning and a few at night in bed but now its throughout the day and I can actually see him moving now.
Food cravings: No, just being greedy and eating chocolate everyday, not a craving just greed on my part.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope, one symptom I've managed to avoid.
Labour signs: None
Symptoms: Back and belly ache, think I'm going to order a support band today as walking around on my lunch is starting to hurt my belly and by the end of the week my back is gone.
Belly button in or out? IN, but getting shallower each week.
Wedding rings on or off? Off
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy most of the time but hear a soppy song and I'm welling up.
Looking forward to: My midwife appointment this week, always nice to hear things are going well (touch wood) and to hear babies heartbeat.
